By now, all of you will have a glimpse of your mid-year results.

There are people who feel sad because they did not do as well as they could.

There are people who feel happy because they have exceeded their expectation.

There are people who feel sad because they failed their subjects.

There are people who feel happy because they get the highest for their subjects.

There are people who feel sad because they failed their English.

There are people who feel happy because they have passed their weakest subjects.

There are people who feel sad because they lost out to their classmates in some subjects.

There are people who feel happy because they won their classmates in some subjects.

There are people who feel sad because they know they should have study harder for the exam.

There are people who feel happy because they got good results despite not studying much.

There are people who are sad that despite all their hard work, they still failed the subjects.

There are people who feel happy because all their hard work and sweat had paid off.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, there are people who do not have any feelings because they simply don’t care what sort of results they got because they did not work hard for it.

Regardless of what feeling you have, remember, THIS IS ONLY HALF TIME. All of you have got Term 3 Common Test 2 and Term 4 Final Exam to salvage your results.

For those who did well so far, keep up the good effort and strive for more distinction end of the year.

For those who pass but did not do as well, keep on going and improve your results.

For those who failed some subjects, please beef up your weaker subjects in the coming June holiday.

For those who failed terribly, IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP YOUR IDEA!!!! Time is not on your side if you keep wasting it. The June Holiday is for you to study and study and study and study………… , to catch up with 5 months of your Sec 2 work.

If you were to follow my instruction above, I am sure all of your are able to make it to Sec 3 Express.
